The devil is attacking you.

Where you're emotionally vulnerable.

Because if he gets you emotionally, he destroys your entire life.

That is why the Bible says it this way. He who rules over his soul is greater than the mighty. And the person who rules over his spirit is strong as a man who can possess a whole city.

Emotions are the danger if they're left unchecked.

When God is about to bless you, God will put you through refining. He will put you through a valley where you will hunger, but he wants to be the bread of life for you. But that is the moment also Satan will come and say, "Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey. You have suffered for long. You don't need to continue to suffer like this."

And many people hand out their emotions, and before you know it, Satan gets them.

Satan doesn't come after you just because you are born. He waits to see what emotionally appeals to you.

When God told the devil, "Have you seen my servant Job?" He said, "Oh, yeah. You have blessed him with everything. You have blessed him in every corner. You have multiplied him. Do you realize the devil never mentioned his children?

He just mentioned the wealth that he had given him and how God had protected him. Then God said, "Okay, touch whatever you want, but don't touch his soul." What was the first thing the devil went after? His children. Why did he go after his children? When you read the book of Job, you realize Job's treasure wasn't silver and gold, it was his children.

He wanted his children to be upright with God. He wanted his children never to anger God and he wanted his children to make it to heaven. So, he prayed on behalf of his children. He cleansed The Bible literally says he cleansed them. He offered sacrifices for them just in case they sinned against God. His sensitivity wasn't just that I love my children, but it was "I don't want my children to offend God." When the devil was unleashed, he went after his children and went after his wealth.

Why did the devil do that? Because he knew where Job's heart was. "If I kill his children, I got him."

Job went on his knees and said, "Naked I came from my mother's womb. Naked will I go back." And worshipped. He was a master of his emotions. And the devil could find no room.
