I want to speak about God's approval.

And um how does God's approval come?

And why does God approve some and disapprove others?

Now, this is a very important thing to think about and to know because it determines how you can posture yourself before God.

And many times we confuse man's approval from God's approval.

God's approval is completely different from man's approval.

But in today's world, we use man's approval to determine God's approval.

And it doesn't work like that.

So, I want you to understand something.

How can I know or how can I tell that God has approved me?

Let's start by reading this first. Uh 2 Corinthians chapter 10 verse 18. 2 Corinthians 10 from 18. 2 Corinthians 10 from 18.

For not he that commendeth himself is approved, but whom the Lord commendeth.

One more time.

For not he that commendeth himself is approved, but whom the Lord commendeth.

Start from 17. Listen to this.

But he that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord. For not he that commendeth himself is approved, but whom the Lord commendeth.

So, what does it mean to glory in the Lord? Number one, when you have nothing and you hold nothing of any reputation. Just stay on. If you have nothing of yourself, no reputation you can credit for yourself, you are a broken individual, you are a rejected individual, you are an individual with so many mistakes, God's approval is available for you.

Amen.

Now, that sounds strange. Because unless your boast is in the Lord, you see, there are many people that can stand and say, "Listen, I I am an outstanding person. I have done this. I've done this." They have all these accolades of how well-behaved they are. I've been married for 30 years, no scandal. We thank God for you. I have [snorts] been I've You know, I've never done this. I've done that. That's all good, but if you think that's God's approval, you've deceived yourself. Even though those things are commendable, don't get me wrong.

Those things should be applauded, but those things do not equate God's approval.

God's approval unlocks the supernatural.

I want you to understand that. The first thing because I'm going to go through this as fast as I can. How do I know that I am approved by God? Number one, is the supernatural becomes available for me. The Bible says, Jesus Christ, a man approved of God by miracle, signs, and wonders. God's approval comes with God's hand being on you.

How does God's hand being on you look like? When people expect you to fail, you still succeed.

Amen.

When people expect you to break, God still puts you together. When people expect you to die, God still puts life into you. When people expect you to give up, God still strengthens you. When people think your story is done, it's just getting started.

Amen.

God's approval is always backed by the supernatural.

God's approval doesn't mean people will not be against you. Oh, people will be against you. But the evidence of God being with you is the fact that every time they're against you, you will always rise to the top.

Amen.

Somebody type, I am approved of God.

I am approved of God.

I can't hear you.

I am approved of God.

hear you.

I am approved of God.

[snorts]

The problem is those who are approved don't understand they're approved until they reach a certain status of life. But the problem is, if you're waiting to arrive at a certain status of life, God may spit you out because you're still not understanding that you're approved. The disease of the approved is they want to be like everybody else yet God has separated them.

Y'all are not listening to me this morning. The disease of the approved is they want to be like everyone.

Why don't they like me? Why they don't want to be like Why don't they like me? Why they don't want to hang out with me? Why did Do they not want to be around me? I've done this for them. I've done that for them. Why am I always being rejected and this and this? You don't understand God has put a distinction between you and them so that he can show that he has approved you.

How can God be revealed if you're not stained?

How can God be revealed if you're not in the darkness where the light can shine and separate you from darkness?

Every one of you watching me right now, I'm here to tell you you are approved of God.

You're approved of God. The absence of money doesn't mean it's God's disapproval. The rejection you're facing does not mean you're disapproved of God.

The difficulty you're facing does not mean you're disapproved of God.

The slander does not mean you're disapproved of God.

If you examine the effects of those things, are they really taking place? No. You realize that the enemy is your own mind, not the plans of God. I was watching a certain therapist and the therapist said something very interesting.

And then I watched another man of God that I love so much was saying the same thing and I was in so much shock.

98% of the stress you carry is not your own. 98 Not even half, 98.

You have taken on people's mindsets, you have taken on people's opinion and you've made it your own yet it was never your own. Because if you are not aware of what they are thinking of you saying about you or what they are trying to slander in you, you would have never been affected.

I remember um my uh strategist and um Shatana told me one time, she was like, "I want you to do something for me." And I was like, "What no What What do you mean?" She was like, "I need you to do something for me. Are you going to listen?" I said, "Of course I'm going to listen." She was like, "Okay, well, you are one of my clients that do listen, but I need you to pay attention.

I don't want you to look at anything negative about you." I said, "Why?" She said, "Everything you watch goes into your frontal lobe and it will change your behavior whether you like it or not. Now, I know this from neurology just from reading. I've never studied neuroscience. Your frontal lobe, if it's affected, it is behavioral. And I found out about this when my brother Christian was sick with a tumor.

And the moment I took that in and I understood what she was saying, my reaction to what people said dramatically diminished.

What people say about you is not God's approval. What God does through you is God's approval.

Amen.

The Bible says this about Jesus. He says, "Many will call him accursed."

"Many will call him rejected."

"Many will hate him." "But they will not know that it is our chastisement that is on him."

They will call him accursed. They will call him all these things. They will think that God has rejected this guy. This guy must be evil to go through all this. But what they don't understand, it is God's approval. For a season, you may look like you're down. For a season, you may look like you're lost. For a season, you may look like you're not going anywhere.

For a season, you may look like everything in your life is scattered. For a season, you may you may look like a failure. For a season, you may look at your age and look at yourself and say, "Where did I go wrong?" For a season, every door will close.

For a season, it will look like resources are scarce. For a reason for a season, you will see and you will feel like you do not meet the qualifications you need to move on to the next level. For a season, it will look like everybody else is doing better than you. For a season, it will look like all those who are for you turned against you.

But understand, it's just a season of separation.

Amen.

That is not a season that proves that God's approval that is on you according to what people will see. When people see they will say God has rejected this person, but they don't understand God has set you on a platform. Because you have to understand this. Nobody talks about what is below. Everybody talks about what is above.

If you are nobody, nobody will talk about you. But if you're somebody, somebody will talk about you.

So when you see yourself to not be where you want to be and people are talking about you, you realize immediately that God is actually elevating you because why would they talk about you if you're nobody?

It means they're picking up something in the spirit that you're not even aware of. Joseph's brothers already hated him. The Bible says they hated him more when they saw what his father did for him. All the garment did all the the coat of many colors did was just increase the hatred that was already there. It didn't create it.

And most people don't understand the coat of many colors wasn't actually a coat. It was actually an innerwear.

How did they know what he was wearing inside?

Sometimes God will allow you to fail so that you have nothing to glory in yourself.

I'll say that one more time for those who are in the back.

One of my fathers told me years ago, this is more than eight, nine years ago.

He told me, Lovay, you're looking at life through the wrong lens because you have no experience yet.

If there is a day you will mess up and you will mess up bad.

And then you will realize that God lifting you has nothing to do with you.

He just approved of you by his grace.

I fought that word.

But today, I am better because I know that if God lifted me because of what I can do, then I should fall and never rise up again.

But, if [snorts] my approval came from God without my participation, that means nobody can remove me from the palm of his hands.

Stop judging your life based what you can see.

You see, when Joseph was thrown in the pit by his brothers, the only way their father would have believed that he has died is they had to strip him of all his clothes and put animal blood on it to show his father that he had died. And they had to bring the inner garment, which is the coat of many colors.

They thought stripping him of the coat meant stripping him of favor. Meant stripping him of God's approval. But the approval is a spiritual thing, it's not a physical thing.

Yes, you may lost you may have lost what you have. It is true you may have lost what you have. It is true what you believed for yourself may have not come to pass the way you thought it would. But I'm here to tell you that's not a sign of God's disapproval.

Amen.

It is your process as God is lifting you up for himself.

Amen.

God always chooses the unqualified and he always selects those who are rejected. Because those who are rejected have nothing to boast of themselves. Those who have failed have nothing to boast of themselves. When you have hit the bottom, you cannot go any lower. You can only go up.

But if you lift yourself in any way, if you prop yourself up in any way, then there's still room for you to fall in order for God to build you up.

The Bible says, God opposes the proud and gives grace to the humble.

What is true humility? True humility is the lifestyle of surrender.

I want you to know the season of darkness is coming to an end.

Amen.

The season of being hid is coming to an end.

The season of dryness is coming to an end.

Amen.

Adam and Eve sinning did not change that they were the first men that God created.

Moses killing did not change him from being a prophet.

Your past mistake, your present mistake is not a disqualifier. The only thing that can disqualify you is when you deify yourself. And you you begin to make it about you and not about him who gives grace.

Somebody type again, I am approved of God.

I am approved of God.

I can't hear you.

I am approved of God.

hear you.

I am approved of God.

I want you to grab the best that you have. The best that you have. Saying, "Father, thank you for your approval over my life." It can be 10 billion, 10 trillion. Let it come from your heart prayerfully.

Prayerfully. If you don't pray, don't give. But if you're going to pray, then you'll give your seed purpose in the sight of God as you appreciate him for what he has communicated into your spirit.
