The Truth About Prayers God Will Never Answer
Watch on YouTube ↗ Read transcript ↓
Summary
In one line: God won't answer prayers not rooted in His will — faith for the moon doesn't oblige God, because He never promised the moon ("Bruce Almighty").
Key points
- "Lord, let my enemies die" — "I'll vindicate you, but I want your enemies redeemed too." God weighs motive: show yourself to me — to feel superior, or to become a symbol of mercy?
- "Nowhere in scripture are you told to plead the blood." The apostles appealed to it but never "pleaded" it; it is already speaking for you (Hebrews 12:24). Orthodox and Catholic exorcists, "our ancestors in the faith", never did it — "that's a Pentecostal thing."
- God is merciful and looks at intent, not the exact words — but understanding how He planted us in Him keeps us from praying the wrong prayer.

There are prayers that God will never answer. The reason why he wouldn't answer them is they're not rooted in his will. It's not in the constitution that he established that when you ask, he will give it to you. So, it doesn't matter if I have faith for the moon. God never promised he would give you the moon.
You're you're you're you're sound like you can't hear me right now. Are you sure you can hear me? Lord, I am trusting you for the moon.
If I could just have them Have you guys watched Bruce Almighty when he pulled the moon close? Lord, if you can just give me the moon. I know you can do anything. Yes, I can do anything, but I didn't say I will do that thing. Come on.
Lord, I just want to see all my enemies die.
I will prove you to be right. I will elevate you above those who are speaking against you. But I want your enemies redeemed, too. Amen. AMEN. AMEN.
SO, I AM NOT GOING TO DO THAT.
SO, there is a There There are things
God, vindicate me. Why? So, that I can prove I am God or so that I can prove you.
God, show yourself to me. Okay, I want to. And I will, but why? So, that you can see yourself better than others? Or so that you can be a recipient of mercy? So, that you can be a symbol of mercy. That when you stand before people and people look at you, they see my goodness and my kindness.
Or will they look at you and see pride?

So, these are the things that God is looking at. So, there are things that we can pray for and God will say, "No. I'm not doing that." Why? Because it is not rooted in the word. That is why people get upset when I say, "There's nowhere in the scriptures you are told plead the blood." They're like, "How could you say that?"
Why not? It's not written. Did you see any apostle telling you plead the blood? Did you even see it in their prayers? They prayed for a lot of things. That's not one of the things they prayed for.
They appealed to it, but they couldn't plead what is keeping them in God. The reason why you are believer is because of that blood being on the altar of God. So, how can I ask for something that is already speaking on my behalf, working on my behalf, is already serving on my behalf?
If you even look at our our brothers, the Orthodox and and the Catholics, who are really our ancestors in the faith, if I should say. You don't see the priests who have been doing exorcism for over a thousand years appealing to the blood. That's a Pentecostal thing. God is merciful. He will save somebody because he knows what you're trying to do, but not because you're praying the right prayer.
See, God is determined to rescue people. So, even when we get it wrong, he's looking at the intent, not the words. Amen. Amen.
Thank you, Lord. Father, wash me with the blood. No, he already washed you. That's why he can forgive you.
It's already working. It's already speaking. The Bible says the blood of Jesus speaketh better things. Meaning before I even appeal to it, it's already speaking for me. So, when we don't understand how God has planted us in him, we will pray the wrong prayer because we don't understand how to be rooted in what God desires us to be in.
