Summary
In one line: What keeps the devil at bay is not prayer — it's a decree. Kings make decrees, and God made you a king.
Key points
- "He has made us kings and priests" (Revelation 1:6) — only kings decree (Job 22:28). You're not here to beg "Father, intervene"; you act on His behalf with His authority.
- If you don't decree, you're vulnerable.
- The devil could tempt Jesus only because the Spirit led Him into the wilderness (Matthew 4:1) — if it wasn't decreed in heaven, the devil had no business with Him. Put up a safeguard.

Listen, the Bible says this. God has made us priests and kings.
Decrees are only made by kings.
I said decrees are only made by kings.
So if God has made you a king, you have the ability to make a decree.
Many of you are just looking at me instead of making decrees.
You're not here to beg God, "Father, intervene." No, you are making a decree because you are acting on behalf of God. He gave YOU AUTHORITY SO THAT YOU CAN ACT on his behalf.
So I want you to hear me. Pay attention and hear me. Pay attention and hear me. If you don't make decrees, you are vulnerable. Because what keeps the devil at bay is not prayer, it's a decree.
The only reason why the devil could tempt Jesus is because the Holy Spirit did it so. And the spirit of God led Jesus to the wilderness to be tempted of the devil.
If he was not decreed in heaven, the devil has no business with Jesus.
So if you don't put a safeguard, you are in trouble.
