But you notice a pattern that the farther we are removed from Genesis, Exodus, you notice that the farther we are from the beginning, the more deaf people have become to God's voice.

It's not like the knowledge of God has increased the voice of God.

[snorts]

You notice there's more knowledge, but God seems farther.

God is no longer close, or it feels like he's no longer close. It's much more difficult to hear his voice. And um most people have blamed it on sin.

And this will be controversial for baby Christians. But I can prove it to you in text.

Sin has never stopped anybody from hearing God.

How then will you be saved if you cannot hear God who can direct you out of sin?

God doesn't like sin. He hates sin. But sin has never stopped God from communicating with these people. Now, will he have a relationship with you as you guys like to say? No. He can't have a relationship with you because there is no basis of it. You are a rebel. But even our most stubborn children, we still talk to them to the best of our ability. We try our best to reach them.

And if they were ever available, we'll be the first one to reach to them.

So, what is the real issue that has caused men and women to struggle in hearing God?

There is a reason, but it's not what you're thinking. Sin is out of the way, and I can prove it to you. Adam and Eve sin, God shows up. Cain kills Abel, God shows up.

And the list goes on and on and on. Um Moses, a murderer, still hears God.

Balaam, a wizard, he still hears God.

In the book of Jeremiah, it says, "My hand is not short to deliver, nor my ears deaf from hearing, but your sins have separated you from me, not me from you." Because Paul testifies and says, "I am convinced that nothing can separate me from [snorts] the love of God. I can reject God's love, but God will never stop reaching out.

But what is the reason that men are struggling to hear the voice of God? To the point that those who hear God think they are extremely special. Now, you will do special things because if God almighty is in you, you can hear his voice. You won't miss a beat. In everything you do, you will do amazing. Because God is with you.

But, still there's a butt. Nobody is special except Jesus.

The least among you shall be the greatest. And the greatest among you must be servant of all. So, God takes away the special card. Because if the son of man came to serve and not to be served, he came like a commoner. That means if I glorify in any way what should be the norm, then I am the one that is lost.

Having a conversation with God is impeccable. It is incredible. I can tell you when I minister to people prophetically, I light up like a bulb because it's so amazing to hear the voice of God. It truly is.

And when I was growing up, when the Lord appeared to me when I was six, and he told me to keep myself from drinking, smoking, or defiling myself in any way.

I took that with me. To this day, I've never done any of those things. And so much so that even my uh my cousin I was I was doing a a question and answer thing with Apostle Innocent and his wife. I had an amazing time in Houston with them, by the way. And I was talking to him previously and he told me "You know, like I used to think like you play for the other team." I was like, "What do you mean?"

He was like, "Bro, every one of us was with girls and you did not. All you wanted to do was church." "You go out, you don't want to do anything. Like, are you okay?"

He said, "I For a moment I thought that then I was just man, this guy is just a pastor. He's going to stop this at any time."

And the only the only woman he ever saw me with is my firstborn's mother.

That's the one he knew. And it doesn't mean I didn't talk to people. I did talk to, but I never crossed the line because I was so protective over the gift of God because I truly believed if I stumbled, I would lose it.

But one of my mentors told me something very interesting. Because in this time I was kind of like a little bit I had a little bit of church brain. Not much because I didn't come from church. But I developed it a little bit. And he looked at me one day and he said "One day you will mess up so bad in the sight of God.

So bad.

You will mess up terribly. And he will use you for you to know it was never about anything that you're doing."

And I wrestled with that. I was like, "How can you wish for me to mess up?" But a day came I've If somebody is a genuine prophet, prophets are not overly active. Especially if they are seasoned. Prophets can be emotional if they are not seasoned. But prophets have a temper. Like real prophets have a temper.

That if that thing checks in, whatever they decide they will die by.

For sure.

One day I was angry.

I don't say much when I'm upset. I actually speak less because I'm very much afraid of my own words. That if I speak, I will have to live with it. I can't take them back. And one thing you have to know is that extreme emotions establish your words.

Because you're all in.

That is why prayer requires emotional content. God knows when you're faking prayer when it lacks emotion. And it has to be genuine emotion. It can't be fake emotion.

Some people cry on pretend. Oh, shabbaram.

God hates that.

But extreme emotions will establish whatever you say. So, when I am upset, I pull back.

I'll be very short with people because I don't want to say anything that I won't take back because I won't take it back. So I choose to say less. So I choose to police my words until I step out of that cloud because if I say anything at that moment, it will happen. Or if I decide something, I have to live by it.

I messed up so bad. And I tried to practice the presence of God. And it came strong on me. I was like, "Oh my gosh, he's still" I started to cry because I thought that he would leave me, all right? Because I I was I was as angry I would imagine how the devil would be. The things I wanted to do.

I could not believe God would still talk to me after that. I didn't act on anything, but the level of anger that was in me was I've never been upset like that ever again since then. And I said I will never. God still spoke to me. That day I had service. In the whole service, I was praying for people, prophesying to people with tears rolling down my face.

They thought I was feeling the spirit of God. But the whole time I was crying because of how I missed it.

And God was still merciful.
