In one line: People can't hear God not because of sin but because they aren't still — and "be still" (Hebrew rāphāh) doesn't mean "be quiet," it means let go, relax, release, stop striving.

But you notice a pattern that the farther we are removed from Genesis, Exodus, you notice that the farther we are from the beginning, the more deaf people have become to God's voice.

It's not like the knowledge of God has increased the voice of God.

You notice there's more knowledge, but God seems farther.

God is no longer close or it feels like he's no longer close. It's much more difficult to hear his voice.

And um most people have blamed it on sin and this will be controversial for baby Christians. But I can prove it to you in text.

Sin has never stopped anybody from hearing God.

How then will you be saved if you cannot hear God who can direct you out of sin?

God doesn't like sin. He hates sin. But sin has never stopped God from communicating with his people. Now, will he have a relationship with you as you guys like to say? No, he can't have a relationship with you because there is no basis of it. you are a rebel. But even our most stubborn children, we still talk to them to the best of our ability.

We try our best to reach them

and if they were ever available, we'll be the first one to reach to them.

So what is the real issue that has caused men and women to struggle in hearing God?

There is a reason, but it's not what you're thinking. Sin is out of the way, and I can prove it to you. Adam and Eve sin, God shows up. Cain kills Abel, God shows up.

And the list goes on and on and on. Um Moses a murderer still hears God.

Balam a wizard is still here as God.

laughter

In the book of Jeremiah, it says, "My hand is not short to deliver, nor my ears deaf from hearing, but your sins have separated you from me, not me from you."

Because Paul testifies and says, "I am convinced that nothing can separate me from the love of God. I can reject God's love.

But God will never stop reaching out. But what is the reason that men are struggling to hear the voice of God to the point that those who hear God think they are extremely special. Now you will do special things because if God Almighty is in you, you can hear his voice. You won't miss a beat in everything you do. You will do amazing because God is with you.

But but still there's a but. Nobody is special except Jesus. Amen.

The least among you shall be the greatest and the greatest among you must be servant of all. So God takes away the special card because if the son of man came to serve and not to be served, he came like a commoner. That means if I glorify in any way what should be the norm then I am the one that is lost.

Having a conversation with God is impeccable. It is incredible. I can tell you when I minister to people prophetically I light up like a bulb because it's so amazing to hear the voice of God. It truly is.

And when I was growing up, when the Lord appeared to me when I was six and he told me to keep myself from drinking, smoking, or defiling myself in any way, I took that with me. To this day, I've never done any of those things. And so much so that even my uh my cousin I was I was doing a a question and answer thing with Apostle Innocent and his wife. I had an amazing time in Houston with them by the way and uh I was talking to him previously and he told me you know like I used to think like you play for the other team. I was like what do you mean? It's like, bro, every one of us was with girls and you did not.

All you wanted to do was church. We go out. You don't want to do anything. Like, are you okay?

He said, I for a moment I thought that. Then I was just, man, this guy's just a pastor. He's going to stop this at any time.

laughter

And the only the only woman he ever saw me with is my firstborn's mother. That's the one he knew. Now, it doesn't mean I didn't talk to people. I did talk to, but I never crossed the line because I was so protective over the gift of God because I truly believed if I stumbled, I would lose it.

But one of my mentors told me something very interesting because in this time I was kind of like a little bit I had a little bit of church brain not much because I didn't come from church but I developed it a little bit. And he looked at me one day and he said, "One day you will mess up so bad in the sight of God.

So bad. You will mess up terribly and he will use you for you to know it was never about anything that you're doing."

And I wrestled with that. I was like, how can he wish for me to mess up? But a day came.

If somebody's a genuine prophet, prophets are not overreactive, especially if they are seasoned. Prophets can be emotional if they're not seasoned.

But prophets have a temper. Like real prophets have a temper that if that thing checks in, whatever they decide they will die by for sure.

One day I was angry.

I don't say much when I'm upset. I actually speak less because I'm very much afraid of my own words that if I speak I will have to live with it. I can't take them back. And one thing you have to know is that extreme emotions establish your words

because you're all in.

That is why prayer requires emotional content.

God knows when you're faking prayer when it lacks emotion. And it has to be genuine emotion. It can't be fake emotion.

Some people cry on pretend.

God hates that.

But extreme emotions will establish whatever you say. So when I am upset, I pull back.

I'll be very short with people because I don't want to say anything that I won't take back because I won't take it back.

So I choose to say less. So I choose to police my words until I step out of that cloud because if I say anything at that moment, it will happen.

Or if I decide something, I have to live by it.

I messed up so bad and I tried to practice the presence of God and it came strong on me. I was like, "Oh my gosh, he's still I started to cry because I thought that he would leave me, right?" Because I I was I was as angry. I would imagine how the devil would be, the things I wanted to do.

I could not believe God would still talk to me after that.

I didn't act on anything, but the level of anger that was in me was I've never been upset like that ever again since then. And I said, I will never.

God still spoke to me. That day I had service. In the whole service, I was praying for people, prophesying to people with tears rolling down my face. They thought I was feeling the spirit of God, but the whole time I was crying because of how I missed it.

And God was still merciful.

Hallelujah.

So my question to you is this, maybe Uncle Toad, Uncle Charles, one of you guys can answer this. Is what do you think is the missing? Obviously, I know, but I want to pick people's mind. What do you think? What do you actually think is stopping people from hearing God?

I I think about when you talk about the beginning versus now [clears throat]

and what immediately comes to mind is there there's so many voices

that's true

in today's time that we're more inclined we don't even recognize when God is speaking

we're more inclined to just listen to people versus going back to centering ourselves

and and truly uh practicing stillness which I think is an art in itself and a skill.

Very very true. Very very [clears throat] true

to really block out all of the distractions from voices to to entertainment to the the our own desires. I think those are all outside voices that we listen to as opposed to God directly.

That that's true. What do you think, Uncle Chaz?

Yeah, I think it's um more of a posture thing. I think there's so many different reasons in which we allow circumstances and noise to um be louder than the voice of God, which many times comes as a still small voice. So, I think it has a lot to do with honor. Um, I think it has a lot to do with covering. And I think there's just a lot of characteristics that we used to hold so near and dear to our heart that we've kind of relinquished.

Psalms 46.

Let me show you why people are stuck. Psalms chapter 46. And we'll start from we'll read verse 10. Let's just read verse 10.

Amen.

Psalms chapter 46 and verse 10.

Psalms chapter 46 from verse 10.

Mhm.

Be still and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the heathen. I will be exalted in the earth. Now it's very interesting. God is saying, "Be still and know that I am God. I will be exalted." Now obviously God is not trying to exalt himself without defending you, blessing you because the only way God can be seen is when his hand is on a human being.

But I want you to notice a pattern and then I will break it down for you. Exodus chapter 14 14 from verse 13. Amen. Exodus 14 from verse 13.

Mhm. And Moses said unto the people, "Fear ye not. Stand still and see the salvation of the Lord."

Stop right there. You see again, it is becoming a requirement that what without stillness, God cannot be exalted. God cannot be seen. God cannot deliver.

In fact, you know how to be still, but you did not pay attention because that's how you got saved.

2 Chronicles 20:1 17.

Amen.

Mhm.

2 Chronicles 20 from verse 17.

Mhm. Ye shall not need to fight in this battle.
Set yourselves, stand ye still, and see the salvation of the Lord with you. You notice the same thing is there.

You have to be still and then you'll see the salvation of God. Isaiah 30:15.

Amen. Isaiah 30 from verse 15.

Uhhuh. For thus saith the Lord God, the Holy One of Israel, in returning and rest shall ye be saved. In quietness and in confidence shall be your strength.

One more time.

For thus saith the Lord God,

the Holy One of Israel, in returning and rest shall ye be saved. In quietness and in confidence shall be your strength, and ye would not.

Are you noticing the pattern is not changing? Whether you go to the New Testament or the Old Testament, lamentation chapter 3 verse 256 if we need to. Amen.

Mhm. Lamentations 3 from verse 25. The Lord is good unto them that wait for him.

Oh,

to the soul that seeketh him.

Uhhuh. It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the Lord. Read it again.

Verse 25.

Uhhuh.

The Lord is good unto them that wait for him.

God is good to those who wait. Stillness.

Amen.

Keep going.

To the soul that seeketh him.

Uh-huh. It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the Lord.

I'll add a few more so that you know this for sure and then we'll go into it. Psalms uh 3 37:7.

Amen. Psalms chapter 37 from verse 7.

Uhhuh.

Rest in the Lord and wait patiently for him. Fret not thyself because of him who prosperth in his way. because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass.

Did you hear that,

Steve? Be still. Wait, be quiet. Stand still.

The pattern is still the same. Nothing is changing. [clears throat] Zechariah chapter 2:3.

Zechariah 2 from verse 13.

Be silent, oh all flesh, before the Lord, for he is raised up out of his holy habitation.

One more time. Verse 13. Be silent, oh all flesh before the Lord, for he is raised up out of his holy habitation. Why did they miss Jesus? He lifted himself out of his holy habitation and they were not still so they couldn't see him. So that means being still is more than just because it says in Isaiah it said the Lord is good to those who wait on him, the soul that seeketh him. So being busy doesn't mean you're not still.

Be still doesn't mean drop everything.

It doesn't mean that.

We're going to get it in a second. Habacook 2 verse 20. And then we'll start to break this down. Habacook 2 from verse 20.

Mhm.

But the Lord is in his holy temple.

Mhm.

Let all the earth keep silence before him.

Mhm.

One more time. Verse 20, but the Lord is in his holy temple. Let all the earth keep silence before him. Why is God requiring people to be silent? Now remember God is spirit. So silence is different for God because the same God is saying make a joyful noise unto him. But these are two extremes. Enter his gates with thanksgiving, his courts with praise.

God loves noise, but what kind of noise?

What does he interpret to be noise? So when you go to Psalms 46, Psalms chapter 46 and verse 10, it says, "Be still and know that I am God." The word there be still is ra a p h ah r a p h a h rafa and that word doesn't mean to be quiet means a few things.

Let go.

Seize. Relax. Release. And stop striving.

stillness manifests in somebody that has had an encounter with God because somebody understands the function of God. The absence of stillness means that you have never been carried by God and you don't know him at all. Let me explain to you why God does not require human intervention to get done what he needs to.

But a human being can mess up the flow of God in their own life because they play God without knowing that they're playing God.

Cain kills his brother and God appears.

you you're fighting and you're you're fasting and praying and God is not saying anything. It's not that God didn't speak. You lack stillness. Why? Number one, you don't know how to let go.

If I have a prayer point and I bring it before God,

I want what I am asking God. I am not going to God because he knows better than I do. I am not going to God because I know he has better than I think I want. So even though this is my request, I need to seek his will within my request. This is what I want. But you know better. If it's not for me, take it away. If it's for me, give it to me. But if it's not for me, give me better that you have than this.

Amen.

But if I am attached to an outcome, Wow.

Then God cannot speak because I have set my mind on what I want.

If I have decided to do something, God will not interfere with my decision because that will mean he has no love because now he's manipulating you.

You see, we human beings have that thing if that if I want something for you, I will argue with you, sometimes even fight you. to give you what I think is best for you.

But when you grow up, you realize that no matter what you do, people will resort to whatever they want to do.

When they get burnt,

then they start saying, "Man, actually, Uncle Todd, what you had for me was better. I appreciate it more." That is why the the the prodal son's father never argued with him.

He never argued with him. Not because he knew he knew not what his son was going to do. He was going to squander everything, but he still allowed him and gave him whatever he wanted, but he waited for him to come back.

Some of you, your children are not getting delivered because you keep controlling the outcome.

If you trust God, let them go.

You got to let them go.

Or else you will kill yourself before your time.

My God.

I wanted this job. I fasted and prayed and I did this and I did that and I did that. I can't believe I didn't get the job. You are not praying for the job. You had decided and you wanted God to cosign

whatever your decision was.

It had nothing to do with him.

[crying]

I am just trusting God. To trust God is not holding on to what you want. To trust God is to know he has better than what I want.

So if I trust God, I am not holding on to my outcome.

If the Lord Jesus, if the Lord Jesus was stuck on the outcome of not going to the cross, he would have been disappointed because Jesus said his father does not withhold anything from him.

Lazarus's family said, "We know whatever you ask God, he gives it to you."

Here is Jesus asking, "Father, if it be your will, let this cup of suffering pass, but let it not be my will, let it be your will." God did not even answer him. His father didn't answer him.

He wasn't answered. Angels came and comforted him. They came and strengthened him. Sorry, brah.

You have to go through it.

You don't receive instructions from God because you are married to an outcome.

You are married to an outcome.

You don't know how to let go.

There are things that I lost in my life. I am grateful that I lost. When I lost them, it didn't feel like it. But looking back, I'm like, "Oh Lord, you should have taken more.

You should have taken more.

So you need to look at your life and say stillness is I'm not is not silencing your mind. It has nothing to do with it.

The first thing is learning to let go.

Amen.

Let go of expectations.

Expectations don't work in relationship.

They don't work in friendship. Because if you have expectations, be ready to be disappointed

every time.

I'm going to say it one more time.

If you are going to have expectations, be ready to be disappointed.

Having a standard is different from having an expectation.

A standard is this is what we are aiming for. An expectation is I have made you cross over the line that maybe you have weaknesses that don't allow you

or maybe one day you can just have a human day and it does not go the way you want it to go and it and it fails.

If you want to be disappointed in life, start expecting

[clears throat]

I'll say it again. If you want to experience heartache, you want to pluck off your hair.

become a person that lives in expectation. Good luck.

You know, I knew I was going to be married by the time I'm 25. By the time I'm 26, I should have like my first baby. then have my babies. By the time I'm 28, I've stopped having babies. I'm recovering now. I'm only I'm raising these ninjas for a little bit and then I'm going back to my acting career and I'm going to do this. I'm going to do that. By the time I'm 35, we're going to have a house in a hill.

I'm going to have your journey is not everybody's journey.

And you are not writing your own story.

God is in charge of your story. He has predestinated you. He has decided what will come of you.

Come out of expectations. You will hate your life.

I did this for you. I expect you to do that for me. Good luck.

It doesn't work like that. Even when you're working on your career, expect God to do great things.

But you never put a date to what God did not.

Amen. You never put a time to what God did not.

Amen.

By faith you can understand that because the Bible says through faith we know. You can know God is going to make me great. Moses became great at 80.

Abraham became a father of nations in his 90s.

Many of you your faith is failing because of expectations that are unrealistic. And when I'm talking about unrealistic, I'm not saying it's impossible. They're unrealistic here.

Please hear me out. Their unrealisticness here is connected to what God has not ordained.

Pastors are envious because they're expected to be the greatest pastor in the world, greatest prophet in the world. The question is this, is that what God called you to do?

So, did you call yourself to ministry?

Or did co God call you? To be honest with you, most men of God need to go get a job.

Go get a job.

Prophetist, prophet, apostle, pastor, bishop. Your church numbers are telling you you may have not been called. You may have chosen the pastoral way because you didn't want to go to work. Go to work.

I'm just saying

get a job.

God is not even giving you people because he knows you can't even manage your own life.

How are you going to how are you going to carry the people of God? How is that going to work? Pastoring is terrible. Hey Pastoring is terrible.

You experience people leaving your life once in a while. Pastors experience it every day. You prayed for people, paid rent for people, did things for people. The moment they feel like they need to move on, they won't even say bye. They'll just go to another church.

Then you'll sit there. What happened to these people? Then you check them, they're like, "Yeah, we just go to another church." But you got emotionally invested.

Most people, almost 96% of people on the earth can't hear God.

Your Bible was not designed to make you still.

I'll say it one more time. The Bible you love, which you should love, you should enjoy the word of God. It is the testimony of our Lord anyway.

But you know, you cannot hear God through scripture. That's not the work of scripture. There's no verse that says hear God by reading the scriptures. Scripture can inspire you. You may be going through something and you read a verse that encourages you. That's what it's supposed to do.

The scripture just hit you at the right time. It is a form of God speaking to you. But how many times can you go to that?

You hear God through the word of God. No, that's not what the scripture says. The Bible doesn't even say that about itself. You don't even read the Bible to get saved. In fact, Jesus himself said that you seek the scriptures thinking in them you find life, but it only points to me. So, the scriptures point you to life. They don't give life.

If reading the Bible was life, Hebrew Israelites will be the custodians of eternal life. That's why

laughter

other denominations that don't believe in the power of God that just believe solar scripture, it will be crazy. They will be the ones, the Pharisees, the Jews right now, they will be crazy.

But it was not designed for that.

Renew your mind.

Amen.

By the reading of the word. The word of God is supposed to give you a fresh perspective. A change in how you pursue God, a different lens you see life through so that you can get to that place of stillness. But the Bible is not a replacement for you seeking the face of God to hear instructions from God.

If you want to have a solution to a certain situations, maybe it's moving to another city, maybe it's doing a certain work, maybe it's taking care of a

I promise you

if you open your Bible, you won't find an answer.

You won't open the Bible and you hear my daughter, my son, son, son, I am the Lord.

Nah, it doesn't work like that.

It does not work like that. It doesn't It does not.

Because the purpose of scripture was the process of transformation.

But the transformation is complete not by reading but by yielding yourself to the spirit of God. I can read the word without the conviction of the Holy Spirit. That means I'm still not changing.

When change comes, you cannot help it.

But what you used to enjoy, you will no longer enjoy it.

What would be pleasing to you will no longer be pleasing. The companies you used to enjoy, you will no longer enjoy them.

The things that used to give you pleasure and joy will no longer give you pleasure and joy. Why? You have changed.

And when change comes and transformation sets in, you begin to ask yourself, why am I not liking what I used to love?

It won't be a fight.

Man, I I still, you know, I I got to I got to No, when change comes,

it is natural. to find yourself you used to argue with people. Now you don't see the point.

In fact, when they start arguing, you start seeing how sorry they are.

You start realizing arguing is uh or arguments or being loud is a sign of low IQ.

If somebody can't hold a conversation, then they don't really want to change a situation.

You start noticing all these things. Then you start looking at yourself. You say, "Man, I can't believe that was me.

What in the Wakanda?"

You start capturing things in your spirit that are just like, "Nah, it should not be like this.

It shouldn't be.

You are not still because you can't let go.

And if you let go, [clears throat] you have to learn how to relax because relaxing is the sign of rest.

If you are tense, you can't sleep. You can't rest.

You probably blow some blood vessels to be honest with you because you're just tense like this. It doesn't work. You see, when I'm when I'm fight training, one of the things that you learn how to do is to relax in crossfire.

Because when you're more relaxed, you see better. You can counter better. Your cardio is better. But if you are not relaxed and you're jittery, you get tired faster. You can't process and anything that comes will move you.

Relaxing doesn't mean there is something in your mind or relaxing doesn't mean the absence of something consuming your mind. But relaxing is the ability to say God has all control.

To relax.

To relax is to melt in God's hands.

To relax is to choose peace.

To relax is to position yourself for God to care for you.

God is tired of people saying he's in control, but they can't relax.

The Lord Jesus Christ is in the boat sleeping. The Bible says the boat boat was filled with water. Meaning even where he was sleeping, it was wet. That his disciples came to him. They didn't say, "Lord, wake up. We are dying." They found it to be an insult of some sort for them to come and say, "Don't you care that we die?

meaning why aren't you worried like we are? Jesus was relaxed because he knew his destination and his destiny was not the sea but the cross.

Amen.

So there is no way I'm going to die here. I might as well take my rock and make it like a pillow and sleep like Jacob did.

To sleep is to be tired. To relax is to rest.

Some of you want to escape things. God is not calling you to to escape anything. He is your escape. Amen.

So you trying to intoxicate yourself or take some sleeping pills, it's not the answer.

To relax is to know what the issue is, but to know that God's got it.

I'm going to chill. Whatever he wants to do with it, let him do with it. But I know this is not the end of me. Yeah.

So you need to explore these things to relax is to say Lord this is it.

I am no longer going to hold to an expectation and I'm going to rest in you. Whatever outcome you choose, I'm good with it because you only want the best for me.

So whatever you do, it's all good.

Yeah.

It's all good.

It's all good.

Number three is to release things.

To let go here is expectation.

To release is to break the power that is holding you.

Amen. That's what release is. Is that something will no longer have the power to control you. To let go is you controlling an outcome. I'm not going to let go of this. I'm going to hold on to it. When Jacob was fighting God, wrestling with God, God had to move his hip out of place for him to chill out because he was wrestling without saying anything. When his hip was pulled out, then he says, "What do you want? I will not let you go until you bless me." Why didn't you just say, "Bless me.

All night prayer."

Okay. By the time you're done, you never got anything because you never said anything.

I don't know why people undermine praying in the spirit and praying with understanding. People really undermine praying with understanding. It's because they don't understand the place of praying with understanding.

You cannot pray in the spirit until you learn how to pray with understanding

because tongues work with intent.

That's good.

When I have no longer any human words to pray

is when the spirit prays for me

with groanings. That words cannot what? They cannot be uttered. I take it to another level now because when I pray in tongues, I am praying within God's will.

He is the one now praying through me.

But you can't just be lazy. Okay, children of God, let's just pray now that all the powers of darkness will be broken. That's a joke, man. That's a serious joke. If you look through church history, you look through text, nobody prayed like that. Yet Paul claims to pray in the spirit more than anybody. But go look at his prayer and he says, "I will pray with the spirit and then with my understanding." But you think when he's saying praying with the spirit means he's here's the issue. You have been taught praying in the spirit means praying in tongues.

No. Praying in spirit is praying in spirit and truth.

There are many ways to pray in the spirit. When I give genuinely, I am giving and praying in spirit because it's thanksgiving.

When I worship in truth, I am praying in the spirit.

When I pray with my understanding, but my heart is with God, I am praying in the spirit. Tonesues is different. He that prays in tonesues utters mysteries. By the time you're finished praying tonesues, you should have some mysteries of heaven unlocked to you. If the mysteries of heaven were not unlocked to you, you did not pray in tonesues.

That is why tongues is the only prayer that requires interpretation. Not only to those who are listening but even to the one that is praying. What did I say?

Because remember that is rising out of my spirit.

What did I say? So that I can benefit from what I said. I may feel it. I may interpret by having an impression. Like sometimes you want to pray and you're praying warfare and an aggression comes in you and you start saying some crazy tongues. It will be in your best interest to know what you said. How can you repeat the success if you don't know what you said and remember translation or interpretation carries the meaning and the message of what you said. no matter the language.

So just because tongues have been interpreted doesn't mean it lost power.

It just gave understanding.

It just gave understanding to the one praying or to the one that is listening. if they don't have a spiritual capacity to know what they said or to interpret.

So many people saying we did not get a notification. Make sure you turn your notifications on uh and and hit the like button and share us many times uh and and God will bless you.

So, so capture this by the spirit of God. Jesus said, "A time is coming that God will no longer be worshiped in this mountain or that mountain, but those who worship him will worship him in spirit and truth." Sometimes when I get understanding of tongues, I have a whole book that I have tongues that God gave me and I interpreted.

when my son Chaz and Andrew when my sons were going to go and assist um uh my daughter prayer in Toronto, I told them when you guys pray and you encounter demons, pray these tongues and I gave them the interpretation.

They said it was like a cheat code. It's just like we said one word

and what happened was just like what the heck. But they also have the interpretation of exactly what they said.

So whether they said it in English or in tongues, it didn't make any difference because the point of language is simply a medium of communication or a conduit of communication.

So to release is to look at a situation and say, "It's no longer my problem. It's God's problem."

Some of you, demons are holding you because you for you could not let go of unforgiveness. Most people are demonp possessed because of unforgiveness.

Most people are demonp possessed because of unforgiveness.

I'm going to say it one more time. Unforgiveness is keeping people bound because you're not letting go of a situation. you're not releasing it.

To be released is to be free.

Some of you need to unbind yourself from what was said to you.

You will never make it. How could you? How could I say I bind? But every time you see them or you think about maybe I'm not making it because of what was said,

you just played yourself.

Release people.

Release the pain. It's time to move on.

If you're still in the past, how can you be in the present with God?

How how

how will that be possible?

How God did not call us to be hype about things. or hyper about things.

Release.

When you're working out and you hold your breath, you feel like you're stronger because you're concentrating.

But the absence of the ability to breathe or learning how to breathe when lifting, you could injure yourself by becoming dizzy and passing out.

But when you know how to breathe, your whole body will actually make it easy for you.

Sometimes uh when I'm getting uh work done like um when my physical therapist comes and he's doing all these weird stretches and if they find a not okay just breathe breathe in breathe out it's easier to get rid of the knot. But if you hold your breath, that tension doesn't go.

It needs you to release it. Meaning what is releasing is not the person scraping or massaging you. It's you allowing your body to let go of the tension simply by breathing.

So to be still is not to be stagnant.

It's not about being frozen.

It's about looking at your life and asking yourself, am I fighting with God?

Because most of us are are throwing punches with God in the name of prayer warrior.

I must marry this year before it ends.

I must marry. Prague marriage. [clears throat and laughter] I must be a billionaire. Yet you don't even know how to balance a checkbook.

This year I must have my millions.

When I learned how to be still, my life became significantly peaceful.

It did not just become peaceful. It became significantly.

It became significantly peaceful.

significantly. When I would pray for people, I would have such an expectation of what God will do. And if it didn't happen the way I thought, it would grieve me.

Then God told me, "You don't know what I know.

And these are not your people. They are my people. You don't love them more than I do. You didn't die for them. I washed my hands.

So when I release somebody in God's hands, I know God will take care of them no matter how it looks like.

I have prayed for people knowing they're going to die and I say Lord look at their family look at them you know best but I am pleading on their behalf let this person live extend their life there are times God would do it and there are time God will say No.
