Walking with God

is about an experience. It's about an encounter. There is a level that God intends for his people to be.

You know people love titles.

Oh, the church loves titles. No, we do. It's human nature. We love titles. But God does not rank titles in the spirit in the way you think. God ranks you according to the encounter you have been able to enter into.

Let me show it to you. Go to the book of Numbers.

[applause and cheering]

Go to the book of Numbers. Go to the book of Numbers. I hope you're still here. Numbers chapter 12 from verse 6.

Numbers chapter 12 from verse 6.

When Moses was amongst his brethren, Moses married somebody from another nation and his brother and sister were upset. They were both prophetic. One was a prophetess, one was a priest, but he came from a prophetic household because they all heard from God. In fact, their conversation began with, "Has God only spoken through Moses? Has he not also spoken through us?"

Let me prove to you that Aaron could hear the voice of God. When Moses was still in the wilderness encountering God on the mountain, God spoke to Aaron to meet him in the wilderness because he's coming back. So, Aaron knew Moses was coming.

And God told Moses, "Oh, by the way, I told Aaron to meet you." Miriam, the sister, is the one who saved Moses's life. She is the master prophetess. Moses, what are you going to tell me? I saved your life. I'm the one who put you where you're supposed to be. That's why you're alive. So, they felt important because God has spoken through them at a certain time.

And this is the problem with the church today. If I come out and I do a prophecy online and it comes to pass, all of a sudden I believe I have become an authority on a particular subject because what I said happened. But God can speak through anyone. The question is, does he speak to you every day because that is the measure of your encounter?

One-offs don't count in the spirit.

Because God even spoke to Pharaoh in the time of Joseph. Pharaoh did not become a master prophet. He did not become an evangelist. God spoke to him for the sake of his nation and the nation that was going to come out of him.

Not because God wanted to continue to talk to Pharaoh. No. Every one of us we are here tonight or this morning whether in the overflow of the main sanctuary because of some form of God speaking to us. But what you thought was where God wants you to be, I want you to know it is not. Let me show you where God wants you to be. Listen to this.

And he said, "Hear now my words. If there be a prophet among you, notice God is speaking to prophets but is disregarding the title. Imagine you have you you have gathered prophets. And you're saying if there's any prophet among you.

Are you guys listening to me?

Yes.

You gather pastors. And God comes down and says, "If there is any pastor among you."

That means he doesn't regard the title in the manner you think. We all know Moses is a prophet. But God is about to make a distinction between Moses and prophets. If you read in scripture Elijah was called a prophet.

Isaiah was called a prophet. Jeremiah was called a prophet. All these men God dealt with them with a title. But when it came to Moses, Moses is the only prophet that there is no title prophet before his name.

The Bible always says, "Moses and the prophets." Do you know how close you have to be with God that God begins to deal with you on first name basis?

Some of you didn't get it.

You see, when I talk to Bishop Duncan.

In church I say bishop. Outside of church or anywhere, daddy. Why? Because that is his title as a father. Sometimes when I'm with Apostle Apostle Apostle, I say, "Apostle, you know you you are my father." I can never call them with their first name basis. It is disrespectful.

He can say "My son, my prophet." But he can also "Lovey." Then I know, eh, did I do something wrong? Or is he drawing me close like a friend? Because when your parents start calling you by your names when you hear first and last name, you know you're finished.

And I'm giving an example here because these are the elders in the church.

[cheering]

But hear me by the spirit of God. Now, watch this. And he said, "Hearken all my words. If there be a prophet among you I the Lord will make myself known unto him in a vision. I'll make myself known in a vision. And I will speak unto him in a dream.

Verse 7. My servant Moses is not so.

Wait, what? Moses is a prophet, too.

Who is faithful in all my house. But where is the faithfulness being measured? Watch this. With him will I speak mouth to mouth and even apparently. Meaning, if I saw God in a vision and I saw God in person, we are not on the same level.

Amen.

I didn't say that, the Bible did. And God is the one saying it. And not in dark speeches. And the simile similitude of the Lord shall he behold. Wherefore then were you not afraid to speak against my servant Moses? God is saying, "Hey, you all need to be respectful, man."

Yes, sir.

How you going to talk about a person who sees sees me face-to-face like he's just your regular friend?

Come on.

Some of you, those witches that have been coming after you, God will visit them because you have a higher encounter with God.

Amen.

Hallelujah.

God will begin to silence your enemies because of the level of encounter, not the level of prayer.

Amen.

Now, y'all are
