The absence of the power of God in church is not because there's an absence of prayer. It's the absence of righteousness, right standing with God. Righteousness is not just how you behave. Righteousness is are you standing where God wants you to stand? Because if I am perfect, then I have no need for salvation. Then I have no need for a savior. But if I am weak and I am broken, then I am in need of a savior. I am in need of Superman to come and save me. I am in need of somebody to protect me because I have no way of protecting myself. I am a I am a city without walls.
