In one line: In a "Raw Talks" conversation with a bishop: the pure in heart see God because they're moldable — and people with no church background are often delivered fastest because "you don't have to detox them."

I happen to have the prophet with me and the time is about over. Any questions in relationship to what we're talking about to the prophet?

Blessings everybody. Blessings.

God bless you, sir.

Amen.

The prophet came to see me. I I think the pending question is predicated on all we know, there's a lot that is not surprising to us. Because if we were to uh separate hard sayings of Jesus in the time in which he lived and placed it in time in which we live, they wouldn't be hard sayings as far as we're concerned.

Yes.

Because we've been groomed on it.

Yes.

But my question would be if in any dispensation where there is a pure heart, will truth ultimately win the pure heart?

That's This is This is how I would I would see it. I believe that the pure in heart shall see God. That's what as the Lord himself said. And I believe that revelation is progressive.

That in your dispensation, your view of God will be different from the dispensation before. So ultimately, I believe purity of the heart positions you to receive God no matter what dispensation you're in because you're moldable. I have found that people who have an absence of purity are a little more difficult to mold because they are stuck on a pattern and in a way As you know, Bishop, um God, like you said, they are hard sayings of the Lord Jesus, but they're even harder sayings in the Old Testament when God spoke. Like he told Isaiah, was it Isaiah preach naked? And another one eat feces. It's just like, "Lord, why would you Why would you do that?" And some things to us may seem that it is not the voice of God simply because of of what we have been groomed on. And I find that that's a big confusion, especially now in the West, especially, because I'm noticing also as the Bible says, in the last days, there will be a hunger for the word of God. And I believe truly people are hungry for the word of God. The problem is people are hungry for the word of God in order to justify either their suspicion or their personal truths that they already know.

Because when we look at the administration and the ministration of the gifts of God, no matter what they are the Bible tells us they're different, but the same Lord, different, but the same spirit.

Yeah.

But if you have the absence of purity, you fail to see God in whatever situation. I'll tell you one time, Bishop, and I'll I'll give you an example, if you don't mind me saying.

Go ahead.

I was driving with my wife and our car broke down. And this is uh my ex-wife. And And our car broke down, Bishop, in the middle of nowhere. And I was like, "Lord, what is going to happen?" A drunk man pulled Everyone was passing us. A drunk man stopped. Said, "Hey, what you you you Oh, you don't have a spare? I actually have a spare that fits that.

Um you know, I work I'm a mechanic and I'll give you my card and whatever." The guy changed our tire. I was like, "How is this drunk man doing this?"

Yeah.

Now, he did all these things, gave us his card. When we got in the car and looked back, the car he was in disappeared and the car he gave us disappeared.

Wow.

So, I knew it was an angel of God that God sent to rescue us. Now, if you speak to a a a secular believer, a secular Christian, you tell him an angel came as a drunk man, they'll be like, "Where is that in the scriptures?"

You you

So So, that leads me to this question.

Yes, yes, Bishop.

And I think Shaddai and all of us, you know, touched it uh to some extent or other. All of us really touched this.

Yeah.

And that is predicated on the difficulty

Mhm.

that earlier dispensations had with receiving

Mhm.

more truth.

Yes.

Isn't it very possible that one of our greatest hindrances can be this self-righteousness that we somehow achieve?

Yes, our scripture has

from having an earlier relationship with God.

100%. I agree I agree with that because

So, would you say then it would be easier for us to deal with someone who had no previous intoxications?

I'll tell you this, Bishop. Especially with the kind of ministry God has given me, where I deal prophetically with people, healing and deliverance, I've realized that those who get accelerated the fastest are people who have no background in Christianity.

Yes.

I have seen that over and over again because

You don't have to detox.

You don't have to detox them because it's much easier. There was a man that came to our church that has struggled with mental illness for 20-something years. For for uh for 20 years. He was about to for No, for almost he was about to be 40 and he has suffered with it for 20 years. Yes.

Pastor Pastor, he's he's getting older.

Yeah. I was making sure on the time you Yeah, he was about to be 40, but he had mental illness for for 20 years. And his wife said, "I was just holding on because I just believed God is going to do something, but I was ready to leave this guy."

Yeah.

So, they happened to hear about the church and she was skeptic, but she said, "You know what? I'm just going to take him." And they got there and the man got a mighty deliverance. The the evil spirits left him for the first time he slept. The guy is normal, he's in church and he's growing in faith dramatically, really quickly.

And and to bring that to a close and I find that it is easier for God to present himself to somebody who has doesn't need any kind of detoxing detoxing or detoxification or whatever. But I'll say it like this, think about it like this. And this is for all our brothers here, especially I notice that we are mostly men of color. I'm sure maybe there other colors involved.

we have we have color there, right? There's Matt right there.

Oh, Mr. Mr. Matt, God bless you.

Yeah, it's Don over there.

No, Mr. Matt Matt is already a person of color, too. Because white is not a color.

But but hear me hear me hear me like this, right? Let's take an example. Moses wasn't really raised on Judaism. Moses was pretty much raised mostly most of his time he spent in an Egyptian household.

Yes.

Then later on

Yeah.

then later on he realized he was a Jew, so he joined the Jews in suffering.

who his mama was.

I understand. I understand.

who his his housemate was

No. Who took care of him. I I agree. But but but remember he was identity was still hidden. He didn't really know who he was.

Okay.

You know, he really didn't know who he was.

I'll grant that.

So, he he discovers who he is.

So, Moses decides to join his people in suffering, but he had no education truly on the God of his people. He knew him in passing and I believe he resented him because how can you say these are your people and you abandon them? So, Moses gets exiled, he gets kicked out. This is me paraphrasing.

Yeah.

He gets kicked out. He ends up somewhere in Saudi Arabia where where Mount Sinai really is. It's It isn't in Egypt. It's in Saudi.

Yeah.

So, he ends up in Saudi. He meets this man called Jethro who the Bible also called Reuel, friend of God.

Yeah.

He marries one of his daughters and now he's a son-in-law. Now he's left the political, the religious, whatever it is, he's left it behind.

Yes.

And the man is a shepherd.

On the backside of the desert.

And then one day he knows that supposedly God comes on this mountain, but you have to remember he's let me use your word, maybe I'm using it wrong, but his his view of God or his idiosyncratic view of God was not that of a Jew because he's in a different setting.

Yes, yes, I go I go along.

You know, he he's in a different setting. So it's like who is this God? Is it is not even thinking this is the God of the Jews. So he goes up the mountain and he has this strange thing. He meets God, but God doesn't introduce himself as the God of the Jews.

No.

Why does God introduce himself like that? Because he understood that Moses had no uh he had never had any kind of structure of God within his mind. He was more What would What would you say? He was more pliable.

He was more pliable. But But he's more pliable. And and even so, because I think uh we can't minimize the significance of his mother.

No, no, no, I'm not minimizing that, but think about it like this, Vision.

but I also think

Yes.

I'm not in minimizing. Let's not even use that word. But let me switch it from the organization of having a Judaistic background.

Yes, yes.

As opposed to hearing about family.

Yes, yes, yes, yes.

So it makes it easier when he says, "I'm the God of

Yeah.

Abraham, Isaac

But But remember he only told But remember he

talking family.

But remember he only said that because Moses said

Who am I?

Who Who am I going to tell them sent me? Because the person he saw was not a description of the God he knew about.

Well, you see, the whole point is

Yes.

to make it relative.

Yes.

It has to have a connection somewhere on Earth.

Of course.

And that brings me to the whole issue of family. That's why it was easier for God to say

I'm the God of your father.

Isaac, I'm the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. And it's an interesting Somebody else? Help me. Help me. Our time is up.

I'm thinking of Finish. I'm thinking of this because Moses or an African man, an Ethiopian man restored the God of the Jews to the Jews through Moses. Because Jethro was a priest

Yeah.

unto God, but he wasn't a Jew, but he was ministering to God. Sometimes I feel like especially for us people of color, or no matter what background you're in, but especially for us our Africanness really demonized, if you think about it, Bishop.

Oh, no question.

You know, big time, because you think about even the Gospels. If

Oh, yeah.

Moses' wife was an Ethiopian woman.

Yeah.

The Ethiopian eunuch was already reading scriptures and taking the Gospel to Ethiopia before there was a New Testament.

That's right.

So, my thing is our view of God, I really believe the pure in heart will see God, because when you you have purity in you it is easier for God to see you, to meet you, and also whatever side of God he wants to reveal, it will be easier for you than somebody who has been accustomed to Let's say you're Elijah. I'm sorry that you're Elijah. God was not in the fire, but you're Moses, you saw God in the fire. Who is right?

Well, but I would have to interject that.

Yeah.
