Summary
In one line: "If you compare yourself, you'll always be number two" — keep what God commanded you (Deuteronomy 8:6), not someone else's path, and you'll always be number one.
Key points
- Comparison is a rat race — "the goalpost always moves." There will never be a duplicate of you.
- Jesus' disciples weren't commanded what John's were; Levites, Benjamin and Judah each had different commands. "You please God by being you."

Thou shalt keep the commandments of the Lord thy God and walk in his ways.
If you keep the commandments of the Lord God
and walk in his ways, look at your neighbor. Say, "Neighbor,
neighbor,
if you keep the commandments of God,
and walk in his ways,
here's the beautiful thing. What God has commanded me, he hasn't commanded you.
Stop trying to be like other people. What has God said to you?
applause
Most of you quench the blessing of God because you walk in comparison.
If you compare yourself, you will always be number two, number three, number five. If you don't compare yourself and you walk on the path that God has ordained for you, you will always be number one.

Am I communicating with somebody?
Yes, sir.
If you compare yourself, you will always be number two.
If you compare yourself, you'll always be in a rat race
because the goalpost will always move.
But if you're just you, You're just you.
There will never be another you.
Amen.
There will never be a duplicate of you.
Amen.
What the disciples of Jesus were commanded to do was not what the disciples of John were commanded to do.
That's right.
What the Levites were commanded to do is not what those who are of the tribe of Benjamin were commanded to do. Amen.
What the house of Judah was commanded to do is different from everybody else.
Your path is not people's path.
You begin to move from what God has commanded you. When you begin to use people as your reference for what God wants
instead of hearing God for yourself,
knowing the mind of God for yourself, so that you can walk on the path that God has ordained for you
and yourself.
You don't please God by being like other people. You please God by being you,
being original in the way he ordained for you.
You're teaching good.
