God Is Calling—Will You Recognize His Voice?

Summary
In one line: God's voice doesn't go beyond your devotion — and if "God" keeps telling you about others or flattering you ("you're the chosen voice of these last days"), it's a seducing spirit.
Key insights
- The test: "less of me, more of You" (John 3:30). A voice that's all self-gratification — "I'll use you to show all who hated you" — has nothing to do with salvation or humility.
- Intense emotions open the soul. "Be angry and sin not; give no place to the devil" (Ephesians 4:26-27). "If I were the old me, what I'd do to you…" — you just manifested the old you. Many are demonised not by a particular sin but because extreme emotion lets spirits speak in.
- Peter, the man of extremes: "Not my feet — then my whole body!" (John 13:6-10); he cut off Malchus's ear — Jesus had them buy swords so He wouldn't die outside the city (Luke 22:36-38); "whoever lives by the sword dies by it" (Matthew 26:52) — so Jesus healed the ear to cancel the seed Peter sowed against himself (Luke 22:51). The same Peter heard the Father ("You are the Christ") then Satan ("this shall not happen to You") (Matthew 16:13-23). If you're not fortified and healed within, you'll respond to every voice — the difference isn't in the sound.
- Muslims call Jesus Messiah but don't know it means God incarnate who dies for sins — a title is a function.
- "Some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits" (1 Timothy 4:1) — they'll think it's an upgrade. God told Ananias more about Paul than He told Paul (Acts 9:10-16) — to keep him from pride. Paul went from "an apostle… not of man" to "least of the apostles" to "chief of sinners" (1 Corinthians 15:9, Ephesians 3:8, 1 Timothy 1:15). God resists the proud (James 4:6).

So many people want to hear the voice of God. Rightfully so, you should desire to hear the voice of God. Somebody type, I want to hear the voice of God.
I want to hear the voice of God.
hear you.
I want to hear the voice of God.
you to type it. I want to hear the voice of God.
I want to hear the voice of God.
It's true. Desiring to hear the voice of God is important. It is necessary. But the voice of God does not go beyond your devotion. You know, God told me, God told me, God told me, God told me, God told me, God told me. Let's compare that to the weight of your devotion. Already you know there is an issue. God told me this about that person. God told me this about that person. God Why isn't he tell Why is he not telling you about you? And when he tells you about you, there's a word I'm looking for here. Um he flatters you. The anointing I have placed on you, no one else has that anointing. You are the voice that I'm establishing in these last days. He gives you neo chosen one vibes.
Then you feel great about yourself. Then you begin to esteem yourself better than others. That is a spirit of flattery. You are being seduced and you're being tempted and you'll fall for it. Because if it is the voice of God, it will make you do two things. Less of me, more of you.
I want you to type it in the comments. Less of me, more of you.
Less of me, more of you.
to see your comments. Less of me, more of you.
Less of me, more of you.
I can't hear you.
Less of me, more of you.
One more time.
Less of me, more of you.
But all of a sudden it's not about less of me, more of you. It becomes like you have You are Moses I have brought back.
That's a seducing spirit. I will use you to show all those who hated on you. Notice everything is personal, nothing to do with salvation, nothing to do with humility, nothing to do with conversion, nothing to do with your devotion, nothing to do with your love for God. It's self-gratification. Somebody type seducing spirits, I see you today.
Seducing spirits, I see you today.
I can't hear you.
Seducing spirits, I see you today.
I can't hear you.
Seducing spirits, I see you today.
One of the things that I realized is that in extreme emotion, the voice of the devil is always present. The devil does not come and tempt you when you are in your best position. He comes after you when he knows he can get you. He knows he can't get you every time. He can't get you when you're praying. He knows he can't get you when you're when you're calling on the name of the Lord. He will get you when you are you are at the border of entering the flesh. In your anger, sin not. How many people can get angry without sinning?
The moment you say, "If If I was the old me, what I would do to you." You have already done what you did when you are all in your old self. You're lucky I'm saved. No, you're not. You just manifested what you used to be. You just threw out a threat of that you can I can snap back to my old days. Ah, you just fell for the temptation. You just sinned. Somebody type again, "Don't give room to the devil."
Don't give room to the devil.
I can't hear you.
Don't give room to the devil.
I can't hear you.
Don't give room to the devil.
I want you to put it in the chat. Don't give room to the devil.
Don't give room to the devil.
Your emotions.
Whenever an intense emotion is expressed, your soul has to open up. I'll say that one more time. Whenever there is an intense emotion, your soul opens up. Most people are demonized not because they particularly sinned in a certain way, but extreme emotions allow certain spirits to communicate things to you. And if you connect to those things they are communicating to you, you will make room for them and they will have a habitation in you.
Because Peter was such an intense individual, everything was extreme for him. Jesus says, "I'm going to wash your feet." Peter says, "No, you can't wash my feet." Jesus says, "If I don't wash your feet, you have no part with me." He says, "Lord, then don't just wash my feet, wash my entire body." Jesus said, "The word I have spoken has already cleansed you. You just need your feet to be washed." That was Peter for you. Sell a cotton by a sword. Why? Because it's not good for a prophet to die outside of the city. Jesus gets in the city. A guard tries to arrest Jesus. Peter is the first one to cut his ear. Jesus says, "No, my guy. Did I not tell you whoever kills by the sword will die by the sword?" "But you told us to buy swords."
"So that I don't die outside of the city. I'm supposed to be arrested in the city. Look at what the devil did to him." He wanted Peter to use the sword so that he can plant a seed of him to die by what? The sword. So in order for Jesus to reverse it, he did not heal that man's ear just to heal that man's ear. He was canceling what Peter had done to himself. The same Peter, Jesus asked, "Who do the people say I am?"
"You are the Christ, the son of the living God." Jesus our Lord says, "Flesh and blood did not reveal this to you, but my father." But people Peter could not tell that God the Father spoke through him, not even the Holy Spirit, God the Father. A few days later, the same Peter saying, "Lord, how dare you say you're going to die? You are not going to die." Jesus now begins to rebuke the devil. Once he commends God through him, the next one is rebuking the devil through him. So that shows you that today you can hear the Holy Spirit and the next minute you're hearing the devil. And if you're not spiritually fortified, you will think it is God speaking to you. Oh, oh. How could Peter not tell the distinction? I want you to think about that for a second. How could he say you're the Christ, but he doesn't know what the Christ came to do? See, like when we even look at uh we look at uh Muslims, they say Jesus is the Messiah, which is Arabic for Messiah.
But, if you ask them, "Do you know who what the Messiah means?" Messiah is the God reincarnate, and Messiah is supposed to die for the sins of men. So, the the Messiah is not just a title, it's a function. So, because they don't understand what Messiah means, they'll say "Uh Muhammad is the most beloved prophet." No, God doesn't love in that way. He He gives you a mighty duty, a sacrificial duty, to prove that you're really his. So, then just to say you're the most beloved means nothing, because God had a lot of people he loved. But, his begotten son his son he loved him by showing how sacrificial he was. So, if you're not spiritually fortified, you will respond to every voice. I'm going to say that one more time. If you are not spiritually fortified, and if you're not healed within you, you will respond to every voice. If Peter heard from God the Father, he lived with Jesus, but how could Peter conflict that voice with the voice of the devil? That means the distinction is not in the sound. Notice, may not even be in the message. I believe 1 Timothy chapter 4 verse 1.
Now, the Spirit speaketh expressly.
Now, listen to this. Pay attention to this. Uh-huh.
That in the latter times, some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits and doctrines of devils.
How will people leave the faith and start giving heed to seducing spirits and doctrines of demons? Because many of them will think it is revelation revelatory truth. They will believe it's an upgrade in the spirit. They will believe that they're advancing in the spirit, and other people are just asleep, but they have embraced, and they have found the truth that others haven't. That is what they're going to believe because a seducing spirit is enticing you. Seduction goes after what you love the most and lures you in. Think about it like this. God chooses Peter, but he tells another person about Peter more than what he would tell Peter. He tells Paul more about Paul more than he tells Paul.
Tells Paul, "Go and wait for instruction." Then Jesus appears to another devout man, Ananias, and he tells him, "I want you to go and pray for Peter." The man says, "Lord, isn't this that guy that is killing us?" The Lord said, "Yes. Go and pray for him because I will use him greatly and he will know what it means to suffer for my name's sake." Do you see how God speaks?
He reveals to another how mightily he's going to be used and even his suffering. And he tells that person to go and pray for him. Why? Because that person will have the passion in the heart of God to minister to him. But if you went to Peter and said to Paul and said, "I will make you this. I will make you that." The man may puff himself up. God has to build him systematically. And when you look at Paul's writing, I don't know if this is the right word, but chronologically, you'll realize that he begins a little puffed up. Huh?
He begins a little puffed up. Go and line it up. He begins by I, Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ according to the will of God and not of man. Then you read on, "I, Paul, the least of the apostles."
Then you read on, "I, Paul, the worst of sinners." He doesn't continue to make himself great. He continues to make himself what? Lower. He continues to make himself less because the more you puff yourself up, the voice of the devil is next to you.
God opposes the proud and gives more grace to the humble.
Amen.
Somebody type, "Lord, give me humility today."
Lord, give me humility today.
I can't hear you.
Lord, give me humility today.
Please type, "Lord, give me the spirit of humility." I want you to put that in the chat. Put it in the chat. Put it in the chat.
Lord, give me humility.
